Reminder about last 2024 Jazz by the Bay and Afterparty

Reminder about last 2024 Jazz by the Bay and Afterparty (and what progress looks like)

Dear Neighbor;

As a resident, I always wondered why Jazz ended in August when September's warm Fridays are perfect for outdoor music. So, as your City Councilmember, I helped extend Jazz and Blues by the Bay into September.

Over the past four years, we’ve achieved big things like generating budget surpluses, committing $24 million to infrastructure, and forming our first business improvement district. But one of the small accomplishments that makes me smile is listening to music together in the September sunshine.

Come out to Gabrielson Park TODAY (Friday Sept 13) from 6pm-7.30pm and enjoy the last Jazz by the Bay of 2024.

We've got a lot more to do in Sausalito, policies that grow our economy will provide more tax revenue, without raising tax rates, that we can spend on our infrastructure and ourselves.

If we choose well in this election, the accomplishments of the past four years could be just the start of a Sausalito Renaissance. If you like Moving Sausalito Forward Together and want more Fiscal Responsibility with a Positive Vision, click here to support my campaign for re-election.

ps. and if you want to keep on dancing after Jazz, Ron Rosson and his Music For the Soul band from Marin City are doing an after Jazz musical event till 11pm  at our own Sausalito Center for the Arts (another new thing the City and community volunteers accomplished these past four years). Learn more here.
