Cheryl Contee is an award-winning CEO and author. She is the co-founder of Do Big Things, a digital agency and is the author of the Amazon bestseller Mechanical Bull: How You Can Achieve Startup Success. She was a co-founder of social marketing software Attentive.ly at Blackbaud, the first tech startup with a Black female founder to be acquired by a NASDAQ-traded company. Cheryl is proud to be a co-founder of the tech inclusion initiative #YesWeCode (now DreamCorps Tech). She is a resident of Marin City and the mother of a lovely son, Colm.

Tara Cooper first moved to Sausalito in 1997 and lives here again now, near Caledonia Street. She is a graduate of Cornell University and a 20+ year veteran of communications in the biotech industry. She now runs her own communication consulting agency based here in Sausalito. She is an avid cook, outdoor enthusiast, amateur photographer, and passionate dog owner.

Joshua is currently a Trustee of the Sausalito Marin City School District and former Trustee of the Marin City Community Service District. He's spent the last decade working on education, recreation, housing, and many other issues impacting 94965. Professionally, Joshua is an entrepreneur with a technology background. He studied at Harvard University and is a 3rd generation Marin City resident and father of two with keen interest in bridging between Marin City and Sausalito.

Steven Hammersly works as a business economist, providing corporate development, financial engineering and strategy services to early stage companies, and on the side instructs graduate students in Media Studies at the New School for Social Research. He returned to Sausalito in 2008, having grown up in southern Marin, and has a strong interest in seeing our town retain its unique character. He is an active boater, avid outdoorsman, and bass guitarist.

Kathryn Soter has lived in Sausalito since 2014. She serves on the membership committee of the Sausalito Yacht Club and is a past board member of the Floating Homes Association. She has over 30 years experience in advertising, publishing and media and now runs her own firm in the interior design industry. When not working, Kathryn enjoys Pilates, paddle boarding, boating, hiking and playing tennis.
